What was that?

 

Van has been a little sick the last few days with a cough, sneezing and a runny nose. This morning at church, Van, was sitting in my lap eating cheerios and he sneezed and out flew a cheerio onto Race. We couldn't help but all three laugh. Race was pretty disgusted.

Race and Van have been wrestling today and getting along so good lately.

Race's basketball banquet is tonight, we are looking forward to that.

This is a family picture for the social worker, we have to turn in a family photo for each social visit. Our appointment is tomorrow. Last week we contacted an agency that assists children under 3 that are behind in their skills, we should be hearing in a few days from this program if Van is eligible to qualify.

Hello

I tried twice to post photos this morning, but for some reason the it's giving me a hard time. Sorry it's more work with the block.

The boys are doing great. Van is picking up new words all the time. We go back to the dr. on Friday to see if he still has blood in his urine and if he does, we'll go to see a kidney dr. next.

Race loves the snow, but he is ready for some nice weather. I miss taking walks outside and cooking out in the backyard and watching the kids play.

I will try the photos again later.

The first photo is of Van and his friend Clark (4) from Ukraine. The second photo is of Race and Clark's big sister, Ali. Clark and Ali live in Texas, they were visiting some family in Indiana and stopped by to see us.

The kids had fun that day. Van ate a pile of pizza, and enjoyed playing on the snoopymobile. Race, unlike Van rather play than eat. When Race and Ali ran out of tokens, they went around trying to scavenge tokens that had been lost by others.

Van will go back to the dr. on the 15th and get rechecked for the minor problem he's had. Van is starting to repeat some words, he is doing great. We will have our second meeting with our social worker at the end of the month.
