Fun in the Snow

We woke up to snow on the ground and a call from Race's coach saying that his game was cancelled. Race was disappointed, but the boys are having a good time playing around in the snow.

We took Keith to the doctor yesterday and he has strep, but is feeling better today.

Van is having fun washing the dishes, or should I say playing in the water.

Wednesday

The boys were playing well together on the couch, so I thought what a good opportunity to snap a few shots. Van is smiling for me, but he hasn't quite learned how to smile with his eyes open.

The boys have found a new hobby, they like to do back flips off of the couch. So far so good, no one has gotten hurt, YET.

Keith is resting in the recliner, he came home from work with the chills and a fever, he's feeling a little better now.

Race Sporting his Upward Jersey

Race started Upward basketball a few weeks ago and is having a great time with it. Here are some pictures of his jersey, the team name is the Bulldogs, but get this the jersey is gator colors.

We have had a full week of Doctor, Dentist and Orthodontist appointments. We have amazingly been able to get most of our school work in though. Race went back to the doctor today for a recheck about something and found out his strep didn't get all the way cleared up from a few weeks ago, so we start another round of antibiotics today.

Laundry, sheets, dishes and school await me! A little boy that should be asleep is playing with a musical book, so I guess he needs a little encouragement to wind down.

Van's trip to the Dentist

Van is napping soundly after being sedated and receiving two fillings this morning. I was expecting him to just collapse when they gave him this medicine, but he was fighting it with all his might. He was walking around clumsily and falling down, so I picked him up thinking he'd just fall asleep in my lap, but he had something else in mind. He was fighting to get out of my grip, not normally his response, but Mama won out.

He is feeling better, but tender (as we call it when someone is acting touchy). He is fine today as long as things are going his way.
