We Miss You!

 

Race is in Georgia with his grandparents and we sure are missing him. We will head to Tennessee on Friday to meet my parents to pick up Race. We'll be staying in a Cabin for the weekend with my parents and my brother's family. We are looking forward to another weekend getaway, just dread the drive.

VBS starts tonight, so we have a busy week ahead of us. Keith and I are in charge of games, so that's always fun.

We'll start school in a few weeks. I ordered some used curriculum offline, which I have done many times before, but this time, I received the wrong book. I was hoping to have everything in and in order before next week.

I don't know the name of this river, but it was near our cabin. It's quiet around my house without Race, too quiet. Van will definitely keep me busy while Race is gone.

The Cabin

 

 

 

 

Here are a few photos taken at the cabin in Townsend, Tennessee. We went for the weekend to meet up with Keith's family, so that Race could go to Georgia with them. I saw the biggest spider I have ever seen in my life, besides those behind cages at the zoo. The spider was lurking in our bathroom, needless to say, I had to get some man power to kill it, because I wasn't about to.

Buckets of Fun

 

 

 

We've had a fun day. The boys have been getting along nice and playing well together lately. Race likes to dress Van up and tie him up. Here's a picture of them from this morning.

We washed the car and they had a ball with the waterhose. This afternoon we filled up a bucket with water and they have been playing in it for a while. Van was yelling in his photo because he was mad that Race was laying in the bucket.
