Just sharing some fun photos. We are staying put today, because of Derby traffic.

 

I have the day off with this sweet little guy. Race went to work with Keith today. We are going to do a little spring cleaning, grocery shopping and hopefully a little relaxing.

 

 

We are taking a trip to the zoo today to see the new exhibit before our pass runs out. Van wanted to help make our pb&jelly sandwiches, so I let him. As you can tell he likes pb a lot, he put pb on both pieces of bread.

Adoption Update: We are still waiting to hear if our adoption agency is going to accept our updated homestudy. We are still awaiting the results of our IRS audit as well.

I haven't heard from our agency today, so isn't the saying, "no news is good news?" It would be nice to hear something by the end of the week.

 

I promise the boys will get haircuts before I send them to Georgia this summer.

Adoption Update: Well, I received my second update to the homestudy today, all looks well except for a few minor discrepancies. We started the homestudy on November 16, 2010. The Lord is in control of all of this and it was his plan for this to take longer than we expected. Maybe the right child for us has not made it to the orphanage yet. We still plan to get a child between 18 mos. and 8 years of either gender. Our agency recommended that we drop to one child instead of two as originally requested, so we complied. At times I wanted to fight this, but was afraid that it would continue to cause the process to be prolonged. Please pray that the homestudy will be acceptable to our adoption agency.
